  17. <p>    She's Blues. He's Broadway. But they share something that
  18. made last week's collaboration long overdue: the name RAITT.
  19. Rocker BONNIE, 42, teamed up with her dad JOHN, 75, sonorous
  20. stage star of the '40s and '50s, for a concert with John
  21. Williams and the Boston Pops. "I wouldn't have thought we'd be
  22. able to find common ground," says Raitt the younger, who did
  23. most of the musical compromising. The program, which will air
  24. on PBS in July, showcases the pair performing Broadway ballads.
  25. Says Bonnie: "It was right up there with getting married in
  26. terms of how touching it was."
